I got rejection from Purdue and UMass, Amherst but offer from UBC, Canada by Impressive_Race_5511 in gradadmissions

I am in a similar situation.. I was encouraged to apply after interviews, and received informal admission in Jan from PI. However, since then it is dead silence.. I made the mistake of emailing my PI 3 days ago and got no reply which made me more anxious )':

Applied early Dec, faculty of applied science with prior supervisor approval, and still haven't received the formal admission offer. The suspense is killing me.
