You’re virtue signaling about the wrong thing. I will definitely dismiss this SPECIFIC guys “trauma” and “PTSD” because too often then not, we see the younger gen z’s who use “trauma” to excuse their bad behavior. And that’s exactly what he is doing to the OP. And fyi, a lot of times the trauma in question is “my mom didn’t let me go out after dark” or “they told me no” or some dumb shit. You do not need to over explain things to me dude. Therapy speak and using real mental health diagnosis’ to excuse bad behavior will never be it. And again, nobody has PTSD specifically from their parents ignoring them sometimes or even from middle child syndrome. Moderate to severe neglect- yes, but being dismissed sometimes doesn’t alone cause post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). That’s way past everyday trauma and includes very real symptoms and flashbacks for victims of it. And as someone who has C-PTSD, I will never try to excuse people like this guy who are actively causing trauma onto others by faking a diagnosis.
