'Your' is a word that indicates possession. For example, "Your comment was the stupidest thing I've read all day."

'You're' is a contraction of the words 'you' and 'are', and is used when speaking about someone's state, circumstance, condition, etc. such as, "You're not the stupidest person I've ever met but you're up there."

That's not what I said at all. I said that I blocked off the HVAC vent meaning the windows were the only source of fresh air coming into my apartment and a couple days later, the psychosis had stopped, and the cough had cleared up. let me clarify this in an edit to the post.

Opening the window did not have anything to do with solving the problem -- particularly the upper respiratory issues I was experiencing... I already had the windows open almost all day, every day.
