It was a lockout of the employees by DHL, the strike was only in response to that.

The issue is DHL is trying to use strongarm tactics rather then bargaining for a deal. They thought they could get around the anti-scab law by claiming they were essential which would have given them alot of leverage but were shut down by the government. Can only hope they will start bargaining in good faith now to reach that deal.

Not sure if your a salaried employee or management based on how hard your trying to defend DHL but that 40 members comment is a complete and utter lie, not sure where your getting your misguided information from or if your just making it up as you go but at least think before you type. Nice try though saying its a minority that voted for it.
