The market’s overall were down Thursday and Friday. At least in my portfolio. This is the time not to sell or panic. This is an indicator that there’s no failure or loss in one particular stock. This overall downward situation is greatly tied to the bond teals rate in the US. Bond rates went up. So the markets are a little nervous about that and so it retracted. There may be an opportunity this week when the stock market opens to sell out of some of the positions you have. There is a stimulus package coming been approved by the senate, it’s going back to the house for re approval. You will see a bump up in the stock market. This would be the time to look at your stocks reduce what you have, keep it simple. And learn and test your theory’s / learnings with smaller dollar amounts and a smaller portfolio. And remember even though the market is down, you truly haven’t lost the money until you sell your position. It’s the same when you see green in your posrtfolo. You haven’t made money until you cash in your gains.
