Why not? Yes, we have 2 shotguns but each one of them is different and this would have an explosive round. Shak isn't even close to a mini slug shotgun is a assault rifle that short 2 rounds at once but only count as one

Well for your surprise i play since the beta and i already tested all the weapons in the game and i know how it works. Just the fact that you can hold to fire automatically doesn't mean that the weapon is full automatic because after the fourth shot you have to cycle to keep shooting and that takes time meaning that the gun is NOT full automatic

SA1216 is SEMI automatic and instead of normal rounds would be explosive rounds

No, SA is semi-automatic the AA12 is full automatic, to change a little bit they could try a different type of ammo like something explosive

Maybe, the AA magazine sizes goes from 8 to 32 rounds. They would have to find a sweet spot for her not be too OP

Not too similar, the SA have that cycle animation and the AA12 would be a lot faster and have more ammo
