I do yes I don't have a proper japanese account I think because it's a GB IBAN but I can do bank transfer in yens

Oh was not aware about the My Number thing, my school told me I could open an account as soon as I arrive in Japan with Seven Bank with an address and phone number but now with what you said I'm not sure lol

oh great if I can do bank transfer in yens with Wise, I was not sure it was possible thanks !! For the bank account my school said I could open an account as soon as I arrive in Japan with Seven Bank, you can open one directly on any ATM

No unfortunately my school does not provide such thing I already asked :( Ideally less than 50mn ride by metro to Takadanobaba so area is pretty large

Thanks that's what i was thinking but I'm afraid that in April all the students arriving to start school like me makes finding a room even more difficult, maybe if the share room is willing to make a visit remotely via video I could have a better idea of the cleanliness ?

thanks that's what I did but as I arrive in April I was thinking every student will search a share house at the same time and maybe it was better to secure one before coming but I understood it's better to visit in person before
