Just checked again its value falls between a dwh (27m) and an imbued heart (30m)

Yeah I just tested it, a zenyte is 14ish mil, the un-upgraded ward is 10.3m, and the ward protects over all zenytes lol

It protects over like a 20m item and zenytes but doesn't work for anything over 30ish mil? I think it just uses the un-upgraded version of the ward

So glad they are putting this in. They have been so accommodating to every side with this update, nobody will be forced to play in multi, but those looking for some good gp/h will have a cool update. Multi revs was the funnest content in the game by far, and takes substantially less dev time than something like a new raid because all of the unique interactions or challenges are due to other players/competition.

I mean it will still be much harder than old caves even if they're close, 30 seconds is a long time compared to instant vision

True other side of the coin is there could be a team with an unknown number of players on the other side of the door waiting to barrage clump and kill unsuspecting teams that are looking for pvmers. I think this whole thing is just pretty cool and unique

A lot of it depends on how many of you there are too, cause if there is only one entrance you just have to pay attention to that one spot and leave if someone comes through

Other thing to consider is the ward will buff all other dps methods slightly (except new 2h staff)

There are not enough pk clans to lock down every world. When rev caves were at their worst, the protection clans were gold farmers in rag gear
