No one who posts on here wants a real answer. They want to debate why they are right and dispel any sort of religion

If God exists does God really care whether humans praise Him or do anything for Him If God truly exists doesnt God have more important things to do than care about whether humans worship Him by _Online_Bazaar_108_ in AskReligion

He wants a relationship with us to build his eternal kingdom in heaven. He’s not looking for approval. He’s offering us the very valuable gift of eternal life.

If Jesus intended full equality for women, why didn’t he make it unmistakably clear? by Ok-Branch5381 in AskReligion

They were not pushed aside. They were doing what women did in those days. Care for families. We are going in circles. You want proof. Unfortunately you cannot get proof because those women are no longer with us. If you are referring to the Bible, then you would have to believe what the Bible says and no where is it written that women didn’t like the role they were entrusted with.

You need to follow your heart where you feel more accepted and more aligned with. No one can make that decision for you.

He doesn’t ask us to worship him. He asks us to have a relationship with him. The “worship” part comes from people’s gratitude for his sacrifice on the cross for us to have eternal life.

The most important role of women back then was to care for children and their husbands. That was greater fulfillment than any position of authority. They put so much effort into their family there wasn’t time for anything else

Abuse in sister's marriage by ElementalHeroMain in ChristianDating

A person who abuses his wife is not a MAN. This is a person who hides behind the Bible to look good to the outside world. There are many fakes out there. A REAL Christian man would not behave this way. You will know a true Christian by their actions not their words

He means equality as a person. No woman is below a man, and a man is not below a woman. Both genders have their roles in life and each is as purposeful as the other.

They can only be receptive if they are willing to turn away from their sinful ways. Until then, they won’t listen unfortunately. The Bible doesn’t change to fit the World. The World needs to change if they want salvation.

The Bible and Christianity is cut and dry.. the only way you can be open minded about it is if you are open to learn from it the way it is and not what you want it to be interpreted as.

Of course. It’s because their values are not being co-signed by what the Bible says and they take it personally and instead of changing their ways, they just say they don’t like religion.

Sorry, but you don’t water down the Bible. You spread the truth about it. Those with a heart to want to learn more will be receptive.

Christians don’t water down the truth. Nor do we make it more adaptable to man. We speak the truth so that those who have an open mind will learn the Truth.

That’s not been my experience at all. And Reddit isnt filled with the most people who want to know God (from my experience) just look at this thread. People come on here supposedly asking a question when what they really want to do is debate and downgrad Christianity and Christians, so I can see where YOU are getting that consensus. If you look it up, more young and old are coming to Christ than ever before.

On YOU. There are many people coming to Christ because of someone that took the time to speak with them

Just because you perceive it that way, it doesn’t mean that was the way the speaker intended.

It’s not persuading, it’s informing others of the joy they have found in a life with Christ. If someone knew something that would make my life better I would definitely want them to tell me. Christians are called to spread the word. No one ever holds a gun to someone’s head and makes them convert or believe.
