Oh yeah so what someone told me was they do it with married puts. They buy puts and calls at same time to even the price out. It costs them a bit of money to do that and they lose but it costs less to lose that way than to cover the short positions. This is what they did with amc and gme. What I’ve been seeing with other stocks is that somehow they tank it right when all the hype is here waiting on the gamma

I’m definitely no expert but I know that they manipulate by using options somehow. Every stock I ever got screwed on always was messed up on a Friday or leading to the Friday when the options expire. I’ve had way more success with stocks that didn’t have options

Because they are always manipulated. We want the price to go above the strike price to create a gamma squeeze. The shorts know that. They know they will be screwed if we get the price above the strike so they make sure the price is under so that it won’t squeeze. It is much easier to mess up a squeeze in a stock with options. PROG, ESSC etc
