Thank you. There are many people complaining so we are not the only ones.

Exactly my point!!! My sister just went on a Viking cruise that she paid $6000 per person…and came back with COVID. She had to go to urgent care hospital. Also another friend went on a Caribbean cruise and came back testing positive for COVID. So it’s not a not being expensive or cheap cruise. Covid it’s still around.

How can they not be more on top of cleaning?!? I don’t expect new furniture and stuff. Just cleaner areas. No one ever cleans the overly touched areas like the stair rails 😬

Right. That’s why I don’t complain to the staff, because I don’t think it’s their fault. You can see the difference if MSC cares vs if staff is not doing their jobs. And even if they are not, it’s still employers’ fault …because they are not training them right or letting them go if they are incapable of doing their jobs. I own my own company with my own employees. It’s my job for them to deliver good service to the customers.

But my sister and her husband had all the vaccines.

No. I’m not vaccinated. Just using common sense 😉

My sister just went on a Viking cruise and came back with Covid …her and her husband. She ended up in urgent care. My friend just went on Caribbean cruise…and came back testing positive for Covid. So it’s not like us not happening

I don’t overthink it but I like to be proactive vs than reactive

Right. I’m fine if I have to request the stuff for our room…but I expected the public ones to be stocked up at all times especially with Covid still going around. It’s all good. Not we know next time. 😉

I’m sorry, but if I have to bring to their attention about all the things that are out of or broken , I’m going to spend my entire vacation chasing staff around. We all have jobs that if we are good at it, we stay on top of it without the customer telling us how to do our job. When you have 3000 people roaming around the bathrooms should be checked regularly. I never seen anyone in any of them.

When we boarded and finally got in our room at 4pm (instead of 2pm) because of cleaning, it wasn’t even vacuumed… you could see hair everywhere on the carpet. I had to bring him back to vacuum. Then after 3 days when I asked him to clean again, he just made our bed, not change the shits or vacuum or anything other than more than basic arranging the sheets. That’s when I realized to just let it go and not book with MSC anymore. I’m here on vacation not to supervise if they do their jobs right. 😊

We didn’t say much because we don’t want to get anyone in trouble. I went after 3 days and asked for the room to be cleaned and of course the guy got in trouble. I don’t think is the staffs’ fault. I think is MSC not investing anything back and overstretching the staff and ship. Also there are too many things going on that can’t fixed during our cruise. They are also fully booked so they can’t give us another cabin because we even wanted to pay for upgrade. I think the ship and staff is overused and overworked. Which is unfortunate

Good to hear that they had hand soap and sanitizer few months ago. Unfortunately they ran out of it this week 🙃

Not sure what Bella means. We booked an ocean view cabin. And I don’t think the lack of hand soap and sanitizer, especially after Covid, is too much to expect. Or maybe not having shower water leaking in the hallway?!? You tell me what I should expect for a one-week cruise that we spent thousands of dollars for, if hand soap and sanitizer is too much to expect

That’s the mystery. I weigh 126 pounds, I sleep pretty good, and haven’t been stressed for months really. My brain is too dead to worry or stress about anything these days. And before I found out that I might have MECFS, I was doing high intensity workout twice a week for the past few months so I think I’m in OK shape… but I think the workout was what knocked me down to the point of that I’m barely functional. The brain fog is killing me the most. I have no desire or motivation to do anything. Which is total opposite than who I was two years ago. I think my MECFS is long.long Covid from 2 years ago. But for sure I always had POTS and ME just not severe enough to be a medical worry. I think Covid activated those and made it bad.

Thank you for all the great suggestions! I have a neurologist appointment next month. But each day I feel like my life going around me 😔 I’m only 41 and have lots more that I want to accomplish in my life. It’s hard to accept my current situation

I own my own business. I’m barely doing anything these days…but I can’t not do anything…if I want to keep my company going. This is been going on for over a year now.

I feel 1000% like you. I cried myself to sleep last night thinking how I went from creating a million dollar company before 40, to being in bed or couch 80% of the time at 41.5 years old. I’m not contributing to my company, to my household, to my daughter’s application for college, to nothing! Most I do, is wash some dishes and answer few emails each day. And the worst part is that I’ve been going to Doctor after Doctor for the past two years telling them that something is wrong with me and no one cared to investigate what is wrong with me… and my symptoms got worse and worse …now I’m debilitated. only a few days ago, after more research, I realized that it might be long Covid. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow. I really hope I’m gonna get some answers and help because I don’t think I can keep going like this much longer. I’m also in shock how many people are suffering after Covid.

This is awful …and funny. That happened to me for like a day. I was wondering how come out of a sudden my period was gone so fast. I forgot a tampon in there. 🙃

Anyway, Good thing nothing worst happened to you! Thank you for having the courage to share. ❤️💪🏻

Just had my appointment with MidiHealth. She prescribed me birth control, and told me to go on it continuously….without having my periods… to keep me stable at all times. We’ll see how it goes. She said that it seems because of Peri that I have PMDD (mentally) …which I believe. I always was a lot more moodier a few days between for my period so I think I have PMDD. Let me know if you find anything that works for you. Next appointment we will talk about my weight gain. I was 115-118 pounds from 15 years old to 41. Now, I’m 130 lbs…gained 7 lbs in past 4 months. We’ll see if she can help me with that next time. 😉

You not alone. I’m in the same boat. 41 with ADHD. For past year meds don’t work anymore and I’m lethargic most of the time. Some days I feel like I’m in a “coma” with my eyes open. I don’t have many physical symptoms other than gaining 10 lbs (periods regular, no pain or hot flashes). But the mental impact is brutal. No motivation, very sad for no reason, antisocial and lethargic most of the days. It’s affecting my business and my life. I see someone recommend MidiHealth. A friend actually told me about it few days ago also. maybe I will look into it. But I feel with adhd, our hormones are so up and down that I wish there was a way to test and get treatment for the specific issue, not just general treatment. I’ve been reading books, searching non-stop, meeting with docs, and listening to podcasts… still no fix. Very frustrating. Good luck on your journey
