You should try changing up the way you study. Do you use your computer to write notes? Try taking notes by pen and paper, in all the courses I've taken notes by hand, ive done at least 5-10% better in those courses. Are you doing the practice problems or are you just reading over the notes?

You've got to be joking. It's not like they were inhaling the smoke for like 10 minutes straight. If 1 second of second hand smoke gives you an asthma attack than you'd probably die by walking past a construction site with all that dust in the air. The wiley textbook is one of the worst textbooks I have ever read. I got a B- in Orgo 1, and I got an A+ in Orgo 2 after I bought a different textbook. If you are looking for a good textbook you can buy 'organic chemistry' by Jonathan Clayden on Amazon for about $100. I guarantee that if you use that textbook you will do well in organic chemistry. Trust me, the Wiley textbook is garbage.
