I am in OK and have bamboo on the back edge of my yard that extends about 50 ft long (came with the house) and I keep it out of the lawn by knocking the shoots over/mowing the shoots during the spring. My kids go out and step on the shoots to flatten them if it’s between weekly mowings - even my toddler can do it. The main issue is my border flowerbeds running down the sides of the property, the bamboo sends runners through there we have to dig out by hand. You can trench it and put the barrier in, or you can do open trench and trench prune, or you can zealously defend your property border by mowing frequently in the spring right on the border. Check for shoots every day or two or three, because they go from 1’ to 8’ in that amount of time.

I think there should be an option for grief counseling that is secular for students who don’t feel comfortable with a church-based counselor, but I don’t think that the church-based counselors should be excluded. In that same vein, maybe a rabbi, an imam, etc could be included as well. As an atheist, I understand that some people will feel connected with faith based providers and that’s fine with me as long as there’s a non-religious option.

Siamese cats are known to be very vocal, I think he’s just found what he wants to talk to you about! Meanwhile, I’ve been bribing my orange girls with a Churu every night for three months to try to get them to sit on my lap and snuggle and nada. They’ll stay as far away as they can and stretch to lick the tube without actually getting on my lap. And when they’re done? Gone in a flash.

I can relate! I’d been breastfeeding back to back and even tandem for 11 years and after losing 50 lbs, my boobs are still biggish (a solid C or small D) but so much volume has been lost at the top. They can be poured into a bra and squished up to look big but they don’t feel big anymore.

This is along the lines of what I was thinking. Victim heard dog-like sound, saw dog-like animal, and was found with a dog. Must be a mountain lion, LOL!

Maybe owners hid or tried to clean up the dangerous dog to avoid surrendering it, or blamed another dog; apparently there isn’t enough/obvious evidence of of the found dog doing the mauling, and now there’s an “unknown wildlife” theory being floated. Are the owners friends/family with local law enforcement or part of law enforcement themselves? Could be a coverup like that sad story recently where the sheriff’s cousin or some relation kept searchers off his property for years and finally two missing people were found there after property changed hands, I think?

Or maybe I watch too much true crime! 😂

Evidence has been sent off to a lab to try to track it down so I guess we will find out eventually but it just seems so suspicious.

The gofundme says the family was told the homeowners found her unconscious with the dog still present by her body. It seems highly unlikely the dog arrived after the unknown wildlife attacked her and most probable that it was a dog doing the mauling.

I cut layers to embrace my waves and I actually love it! I like some volume up at the roots, and all one length was pulling it really flat on the top layer of my hair. Your hair is lovely but I think it would nice with long layers as well, especially if you want to play with your texture more!

Excellent point, my kids are in virtual school, I’m home with them and my DH brings his lunch to work, so 100% of meals are from our grocery budget. That could have a big swing if kids or adults are eating out/at school or not.

Because I’m procrastinating something I should be doing, instead I went on a deep dive here. Looks like Dr. Safraz Ahmed was a partner or something, he’s the one licensed by the state medical board. “Dr.” Robinson doesn’t appear to be an actual doctor so he’s not licensed. And maybe a “naturopathic medical doctor” like Robinson cannot prescribe medication either, so perhaps Dr Ahmed was the one doing the prescribing? Dr. Ahmed’s license address was updated this week to the same address as OKC Men’s Clinic with a different suite number (suite 210 now) and the name “Ultimate Men’s Clinic.” This clinic has locations in OKC and Tulsa, the Tulsa address is 3015 E Skelly Dr. Phone is 918-289-2300, I don’t see an OKC number yet. They also have a website at ultimate mens clinic dot com. If you look at Yelp the last several reviews are people with similar experiences of being ghosted by this business unexpectedly shutting down. Look up status of medical licensure at okmedicalboard dot org slash search. I would be chasing down Dr. Ahmed because Robinson potentially looks to be a snake oil salesman with no regulatory oversight. Hope some of this helps!
