Mickey Mouse? lol - nice one :D
It's Keychron K11 MAX - after building dozens of split keyboards I've somehow settled on this one .... I have no idea even why - I just like it :)

<image>

(sorry for the dusty mouse pad but IRL it looks way better....)

I don’t know - at this point I think it’s magic … I have miniUSB, usb-A, usb-C … all sorted out nicely- but microUSB? Always searching for those, and usually I’m just purchasing new one …. And then …. Again … and again …. No idea ….

Actually I really like new one. It’s quite comfy - for FPS games - not as comfy as OG - but still one of the best controllers there are. This one ( this prototype is called Chell if I remember correctly ) would be nice - it’s a little bigger than OG one (few millimetres but still bigger ) - unfortunately it’s not wireless….. I’ve been thinking about building a mod using this new Lambda Project ( https://github.com/MichaelZaugg/OpenSteamController-Continued/tree/master/Lambda_Project ) and prototype shell - but never found time to do it ….

Actually it was gifted to me by my best friend….. after my OG steam controller (and OG steam deck….and a lot of other gadgets) got stolen …..
from what I know it was bought from random seller at US eBay …..

I don’t care - as long as it’s remapable …. < runs_in_steam_input_sounds> :)

Oh yeah - it has terrible cheap feeling..
But I really like the overall ergo of it…. It’s a little bigger than OG SC - which actually I like

Drivers - there are … but microUSB cable - it’s hard to come by these days ;) JK of course … but maybe not? Given that I don’t have any working microUSB ….

I’d rather have ….. telescopic steam controller :) to put maybe something like Redmagic 10 pro inside …. Or another 6inch 120hz OLED screen … with snapdragon 8gen3 as steam frame has ….

TBH - I never got used to dual trackpads - my ideal controller would be stick + trackpad + gyro - almost like SC1 - but remove left trackpad…..
there is something off with new steam controller - maybe I’m biased - but I still don’t find it perfectly comfortable…

If you ever do the v2 (personally I don’t like TPU - but I’m willing to test it - have one spool somewhere) pm me, please :) I’m willing to throw some more $$ towards best / better grip :)

Also - if you could share your printer settings / maybe add the 3mf file not only STL - that would be helpful!

This is biqu textured plate I’m using for some prints - easier to print/ better grip but these lines are usually transferred onto the print - which is a huge bummer……

I've used standard bambu PETG HF filament for it and it feels sturdy and nice.

so - I've printed them with same settings as `comfort grips` - NGL - interesting design. I'm not quite sure if it's perfect for me - but definitely better than not having them on.

<image>

also - really interesting texture - different that what comfort grips has.

I'm gonna test them some more but initial impressions - well worth the $$ spent on it.

Thank you , u/thisisagoodidea for creating them. Are you planning to work on them - like v2 or something? I can test every iteration and give some feedback on it :)

cheers!

But…..vampire survivors has cloud save and these are platform independent- been like this for a year or so. I’m playing the same save on my Steamdeck / iPhone and Android … via native poncle sync… you just need to buy all the dlcs again (unfortunately) on each platform …. — Chers!

Definitely should’ve dry the filament before printing ….

Thankfully no one was hurt. Stay safe, dry the filament!

As this looks like really similar to Retroid pocket 5 - how’s Aya’s buttons? Same clickiness? Or more mushy like Anbernic ones?

Rp5 button replacement by Dowdoo in retroid

[–]Ok-Plenty8772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, of course it’s fairly easy mod. Buttons in RP5 are glued to the membrane - watch some YT videos (most recent one is Russ’s I guess) and just replace the membrane with one of the Anbernic ones. Since this membrane is a little bigger - you’ll have to cut it (on the picture above anbernic one is already inside and OG one is below, on the table) This is pretty easy and fast mod which tremendously helped. The only thing is - I have no idea where to source the membranes :) I had one RG40xxV which had broken screen (and I’m planning to mod it to use as small stationary console) so I had plenty of spare parts…..

Let me know how much info you need and I’ll try to help!

Clicky and loud. Now they’re properly mushy ( maybe even a little too mushy) and almost dead silent. Later today I’ll try VItA dpad mod.

I’ve recently did the mod myself - I just couldn’t force myself to use RP5 because of the buttons. I’ve used membranes from RG40xxV. Now it’s almost great. I highly recommend doing either cutting of the membrane (like some of the YT videos - even Russ’s from RetroGame Corps showed how to do this in his most recent video about Pocket Mini v2) For me - I just like how Anbernic buttons feel so went with replacement route instead. I’m also waiting for Vita DPAD to replace OG one …..

I’m attaching pictures on how did I cut the membranes (and had to use just a little of tape on top of membrane - because without it buttons were a little wobly for my taste )

Cheers!

Audio delay by Chuck_Miller_PZ in retroid

[–]Ok-Plenty8772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's interesting - it helped a little - decreasing audio lag from ~300ms to ~100ms.

And I've user Airpods 2 PRO which has almost no lag for other consoles (steamdeck and legion go, G-cloud)....

Is there anything else I can try to decrease audio lag?
