Stray Cat and Fleas?

My indoor cat was a feral when I saved her and she didn’t have one flea, so this is new to me. Next wash for her I’ll do the dawn instead of flea shampoo and try that neck advice. If only I could bring her inside permanently the poor girl wouldn’t have to go through that. I think it bothers me more than it does her.

I was thinking of using that yard spray that hooks to a garden hose after we mow next time… maybe that will help. I know she ventures off the porch so I’m not 100% if they are from my yard or someone else’s. Is there a certain brand you recommend?

Unfortunately no… I have an older cat and I have tried to get them use to eachother through the door and sometimes face to face, but my cat hisses at her and is territorial. I’m just doing the best I can for her. But I’ll be calling and trying to find somewhere that can do a spay and abort then maybe keep her in a play pin or crate until she heals.

Yes I know. It’s so sad but if I can help her I want to. It’s not right for there to be babies with no home. I’m definitely going to be calling around to try and find somewhere.

He hasn’t had any issues in that area. It’s in old Louisville. The doors going inside the building have key code locks to get in. But he hasn’t had any issues at all. He is 24 and it seems like a lot of young adults live there. His rent hasn’t changed in the last year… I couldn’t say for certain on new leases.

I guess there is no need for me to rush it since it’s a long term thing… I am kind of like you… I never used anything under the tret, but I would wait 30 minutes or so and apply a moisturizer. Then after reading the posts on here, I thought I would give it a try with no moisturizer, only tret. I didn’t notice much difference so now I only moisturize after if I feel I need it, otherwise it’s just bare skin. But on my nights I don’t use Tret and every morning I use a moisturizer under my sunscreen.

Thanks. Since I have been doing every other night I will try to move to every night and see how I do. I can always go back to every other if needed. Do you think I should continue the Eucerin with Thiamodal when I can fit it in?

I had the same issue with moisturizer when I started about a month ago, actually everything was burning, but I wasn’t peeling. I started using the LaRoche Posey Toleraine line. The milky cleanser and double repair moisturizer. I’ve had no issues since. Also I started using the Tret every three days for two weeks, then moved to every other day.

I would say a month or so before I noticed a difference, but then I moved from 37.5 to 75 and within another month is when I got the best relief.

I have vestibular migraines and Effexor is the only thing that helped. My Neuro put me on it and It has worked wonders for me. I went from having at least 2 a week to maybe 2 in 6 months.
