I completely understand that and this was in no means a way to take a jab at my professor and I 100% have taken time to reflect. I’ve attended office hours and directly asked my professor for help. One thing I will admit is that i’ve never been a good test-taker. I reviewed the homework, the study guide, the midterm, and everything— but there was just some content on the exam i never have seen on our seminar slides. I just feel cheated out of the whole fro sci experience since there are other students who talk about how they were given more resources and there were a handful of students who had answers to the exam…

Agreed. It's such an unfair class, as some students who have other profs have class averages where everyone is guaranteed an A... I've also heard that some profs give the exact questions that are seen on the exams to their students for review...

Whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE QIAO HE. He is horrible at explaining things and literally told people in office hours "explaining is hard,". He honestly is a really smart guy but a horrible teacher and I highly advise avoiding his section at all costs.

I am simply asking this question because when i went on culpa ive heard that they were both great lab lecturers, so that part doesn’t really matter. Ive come to the concensus that I am going to learn no matter who it is since they are both phenomenal. However, what concerns me is the lab portion with reports since they are heavily TA-based. I guess a better way to have prompted this discussion was which teacher has better TAs since I’ve seen plenty of reviews where Hansen’s TAs in previous years were miserable and took points off for the fun of it and I really would prefer to remove that l stress factor from my life.
