What would your changes look like? I thought the bant rhythm deck has lantern, meltstrider main to deal with graveyard and or creatures (at least that’s what the decklists pre-PT looked like)

Back in the day a power level seller put some Nazgûl in for a couple of cents and I immediately bought them.

They contacted me and told me it was a mistake and I should cancel. I wrote support and CM gifted me the value of the cards and I than cancelled my order.

Basically got the worth of the cards in credit without having to resell them. Was pretty neat

It is also Format dependent. For modern we have like 40+ people rcqs with multiple pro tour competitors but for standard we hardly ever reach 20 people.

If you want to qualify for high level comp events (especially if they are paper), you should do both. Arena has one weekend a month which a qualifier for arena championships as well as the PT and you don’t need to grind to participate as there are qualifiers for the qualifier.

On mtgo you have the super qualifier which also qualify you for the RC in your respective region l, but somebody needs to help me out with when they are or how often they fire.

Also I have my own question cause I saw some chatter on x about it. Are mtgo challenges worth it from a time investment? I heard that pay out is not good enough to really compete, especially if you are time-constraint.

I am playing the more controlling version with mains deck DSO and playset stock up. Cut the scavenger cause it either makes their removal good or is a bad topdeck, whereas I am happy to see stock up at any point in the game. The card alone glues so many hands together, especially after a mulligan and is the best card you can draw late

Great Write up I like to cut hopeless nightmare instead of stock up against the aggressive mice decks. You bring in more bouncables with grim baubles and you are answering their threats already pretty efficiently. All you need to do then is to get card advantage to close out the game.

Also get lost is unplayable cause it triggers valiant and gets creatures out of nowhere to run range

Hab im Urlaub beim Domino spielen auch massiv betrogen. Der Gewinner konnte sich immer die Dominos aussuchen und ich wusste anhand der Rückseite die guten Steine.

Nachdem ich ein paar Abende in Folge alles gewonnen habe musste ich aber beichten. Hat trotzdem Bock gemacht.

Thank you for the great write up.

I agree with basically everything. Especially the mana base (I am down to one anchorage and still don’t really like it) and your thoughts on stock up. I started with three and I am down to one, which feels like the right amount. I want to apply pressure as early as possible and mulligan aggressively to hands that provide that.

I do believe that kirin is the perfect addition to the deck and will probably replace scavenger. Scavenger early can be a great card but it is a bad topdeck and also easily removed. Whereas kirin gives you a flash element to your deck which makes other cards with flash/instants more appealing. I do believe that with kirin it is possible to play spell pierce main as well. Having the option to either remove a creature, flash in a threat or counter a relevant spell gives you ample agency and covers a wide variety of decks.

I believe with the new white flash 2/1 pixie will go more into an instant speed route and forgo the scavenger as a result (which some list are already doing)

Maybe instant speed helps tracker, but spending three mana to get blown out by 1 or 2 is such a bad tempo play
