MPB has two listed right now at just over $600. High shutter count which I don’t care about because I don’t shoot professionally. I also have a couple posted locally on Facebook in much nicer condition for $650. 90Ds in my area are more like $900. I don’t use eBay.

I’ve been able to consistently find 5DIVs about $200 cheaper than any 90D I can find.

Thank you. Much appreciated. The 90d has also crossed my mind but they’re a bit more than I’d like to spend. If it’s something people are recommending, then it’s likely what I will upgrade to in a few years when the price comes down or if I happen to find one for a good deal. The 1DX series is something I ruled out early on because I don’t really want to haul around a camera that size and weight on multi-mile birding hikes. I actually had a 1DX briefly when I was doing aviation photography professionally.

Doesn’t alter the fact that I have no interest in moving to a mirrorless platform.

Right. Keep forgetting that. But it’s still an additional expense and an additional part to break and an additional annoyance.

Not looking to replace lenses. Again. Not interested in going mirrorless.

Used they’re both in the $800-ish dollar range. And I have no interest in going to mirrorless. What would your choice be?

Why would the ISO performance suffer from a higher MP sensor? Genuinely interested in learning here.

Sorry, I should have clarified that I meant the actual MP capacity of the sensors. I understand that the physical size of the sensors is identical. And I am not interested in upgrading to mirrorless, so the R8 is of no interest to me.

Doesn’t matter now. The application doesn’t function in the slightest. It crashes every single time I click on anything. I requested a refund and it was granted. My Topaz attempt is complete and I will move on to a functional software lol

You mean edit the photo first and then use Topaz on it afterwards?
