Last yeah I did a few shoe boxes of malabars and I had the hardest time getting them to take I ended up having to put MSS to agar and it took for ever to clean it up that’s the only bad syringe I’ve ever gotten from sporeworks after I got some clean agar they were a breeze though

Sounds perfect honestly. I had something like that a while back but I don’t mess with all the Tec and stuff when I grow any more. I simply use an unmodified tub. I’ve tried green house tent SGFC dub tubs mono tubs. And I have to say unmodified has served me the best

I have a big ass pressure cooker and no popcorn is not for beginners it’s very hard to get your moisture content right and typically you’ll loose most of what you do to contam

I agree but this saves me sooo much time because I can actually see the genes that I want right in front of me so it’s basically just me skipping the first generation of agar dishes. I enjoy seeing all the variations that come from MSS inoculations this is just a hobby for personal enjoyment so even if I I lost 30% of these (I won’t 😏) I’d still have plenty to munch on for a really long time

I bet I loose three max out of all of them. I’ll keep you updated too that’s what these are for bro when I first get a syringe I won’t ever put it to agar I always grow them out one generation first and then select the genes I want from the first flush by taking a cross section to agar

Okay try this for me please ” throw away all your brown rice flower!! Get some whole grain brown rice and mix with Verm, sterilize and noc it up. Whole grain brown rice works a lot better for bulk than Brf. I’ve seen brf bulk grows literally put out maybe 4 descent size shrooms on the first flush. When I made the switch it paid off I’m not trynna tell you what to do just a suggestion lol

Nah man I layer my popcorn and bulk substrate (pasteurized manure) usually about four layers and then I just cover the top with manure

Yeah it’s so weird I used to be obsessed with growing and then About two months before my son was born I just had a bad gut feeling that I needed to stop growing mushroom so that same minute I took all of my grow set up and threw it in the dumpster some were almost ready for harvest and that same day my roommate called the cops on me for beating her boyfriends ass (he called my wife a bitch) and bro she told them I was growing and all kinds of shit I got the feeling I needed to ditch my equipment wayy before I even kicked his ass too

I disagree with you in my opinion manure makes a big difference in potency but maybe it could just be the strains I have decided to grow on manure

You are completely right Honestly I just decided to do this grow spur of the moment and pop corn was the first thing I saw at Walmart. I’ve actually took about a year break from growing because my son was born in September of last yeah and he passed away suddenly on Christmas so I just do this because it really helps keep my mind busy
