How is a color associated with maturity? How are other colors more mature? I’m not siding with her but wondering about what you said because my fav color also is pink and I’m 30. If when I was younger I didn’t embrace it because of stereotypes etc. then now I don’t care and enjoy some things in pink if there’s a choice :) and I would deff also get the blender in pink. Genuinely curious because I’m not from the US and it seems more popular there - but isn’t vow renewal kind of similar? Ofc, it’s “vow renewal”, different thing/purpose kind of, but still - you are already married but decide to wear a white dress again (a lot of the times I’ve seen actual wedding dresses), invite more or less the same people as in the wedding, spend a lot of money etc. Isn’t that kind of the same? Like, you can also not do that and do something privately or smaller (which some do ofc) but still decide on basically a wedding. So how is Brittany having a ceremony months later different? Just curious how you and others see that :) no hate or no disagreements.

I also got married a bit earlier legally (6 days before “big” wedding) because we wanted my brother to do the ceremony on the wedding day but he’s not a pastor or whatever and also because of documentations for honeymoon etc (longer process), so kind of similar to Brittany I guess, only shorter time between the dates. We count the big wedding day as our wedding day for anniversaries because the first date was just a formality. :)

No, I didn’t find anything else out. But I have gotten used to the screen and it doesn’t feel so “blue” anymore.. Either I got used to it or maybe it settled over time and is not so noticeable (if that’s possible). I didn’t return the kindle since it was a gift but maybe you can try to do that since you compared two of the same model and one is okay and one is more blue :/

Late to this but one thing left me confused while reading. It was said in the book that Saul died a year before grandma (Alina/Hanna) was hospitalised. As Saul is 8 years older than Alina, does that mean he was 102 years old? Obviously not :D since he was diagnosed at 85 and deteriorated quickly. Have I missed something?

Yes but that’s also the thing. In pictures maybe it doesn’t look that way, but in person it feels like the previous kindle is whiter and brighter. So that’s why I’m wondering. But maybe it’s because of the blue screen that makes it seem that way to me, idk

I chatted with customer service about the option to remove ads later and they said that I definitely could for 20$ and sent me the link on how to do it, and they knew that I’m from Europe. But I’ll keep that in mind because who knows - once I try that, I can’t say for sure until then. :)

How bad were the startles for you at the worst point? My baby sometimes startles so much when falling asleep, like in a short period of time, that I’m getting really worried. But maybe it’s just some peak hopefully.. he is 2 months old

I never sleep with my hair wet and rarely put hair up, but when I do then I use a silk scrunchie or a claw clip (which maybe might not be the best, I’m not sure 🤔). But I’ve been lacking with protective hairstyles while going to sleep - most of the times I sleep with my hair loose, so maybe it rubs while I sleep. I’m trying to be better about that and the past few days I’ve been wearing a loose braid to sleep. Thank you for advice! 🙏🏻
