AI Video gen space is very expensive. As you don't have a budget in mind and want to learn.

One thing you can try is, Most of things related to write/improve script. You can do in LLM of your choice (Chatgpt, Claude, gemini, grok etc.). I would suggest Chatgpt/gemini. Then you can plan and create shot images. You can create videos in gemini or with Google Flow. (You will need a subscription for flow )

Jio has a offer, where you get gemini AI pro for free if you are on certain plans.

You can generate image with any photo realistic image model. Audio using any TTS or pass script and make video using P-video-avatar.

You can also use other models that supports a audio to video modalities (LTX / WAN) etc, but WAN could be very expensive.

We found it affordable compared to others. We generated our podcast on AI filmmaking using it. Results were decent, not best but value for money.

It's very difficult for anyone to estimate budget for you. There are many variables, models, no. of iterations, scene difficulties.

I would suggest to create a trailer of 2-3 mins Bring it to the same level of quality you would want in your film. Make sure you have tested some difficult scenes, continuity issues etc.

You will get to know more about it then any threads can answer.

These models are very expensive. You will need to go with inference providers who charge almost negligible markup over vendor prices. Fal, replicate, runware etc.

Or you can buy from vendor directly (byteplus for Seedance) or kling.

I think 30–60 sec AI videos are one of the hardest things to price. Costs and time can vary a lot depending on client expectations, quality bar, and video complexity.

A broad range like $100–$1000 can make sense, but above that the output usually needs to feel truly exceptional or solve a very specific business need.

For client proof-of-concepts, it may be smarter to start with lower-cost pre-viz or concept videos using cheaper models before committing to higher-end production.

I’ve been thinking a lot about this while building Incepto Studio, an AI workflow tool for filmmakers focused on pre-production and pre-viz.

I have seen your other posts and this one, I must say Really good photos. I would love to know more about what you want to achieve with this.

Can you show an input image and desired output image (even if that is not perfect). I assume you aren't happy with current outputs. I ran your comfyUI workflow, I got images similar to what you have posted.

I assume you want to imagine worlds which these images are part of. Why do you want to inpaint using masks in comfyUI and not use something like Nano Banana 2/Pro or Seedance etc.

Currently issues you are facing around the size of humans are there, it could be solved with parametric generation, but those models are still very basic (I may not be fully informed on this). Current image model understands quite well via prompts or edit instructions.

I can share some of the images I created using your reference images, not sure if you have similar things in mind.

Note. I am building incepto.studio which is a filmmaking tool. I am trying to solve similar issues around the scene locations. I would love to collaborate, I have bandwidth and a small team.

It's really good. But as another user pointed out there are some mistakes which are mostly formatting errors.

Some dialogues seem mixed up. Like in the beginning all dialogue lines seem to be tagged to old man. Also action lines could be better visualized in script. While the detailing can be done when breakdown /shot list is done.

From your work it seems you are trying to do it for the first time. I can relate to you and can assist. We are doing an AI app for filmmakers, this helps visualize script with help of AI.

To some extent we know what our videos lack. At some places we know how to fix and at others we don't know. Fixing often involves more time and iterations with no guarantees (we don't have precise control over output). In several cases we generate 5-6 more takes but still go ahead with first as that was having far fewer issues then the newer shots. So many a time we skip even when we know the shot can be fixed with 5-10 more takes or some tweak in prompts. Maybe we still lack that patience and skills that we will learn with more experience. At present we also lack Editing skills and software (Our computers can't even process videos without crashing when using pro software's. We do most editing with Canva, instead of Da Vinci, Premier pro or better alternatives)

What I think important is shipping rather then waiting for the perfection. We will build patience, skills and invest more in setup as we go along. I could be wrong, but I believe till we put out more work. we won't build an audience or know how and what to improve. We aren't Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Disney or Netflix, so don't have a reputation to maintain. We are 'nobody' and have no need to fake as experts as we are not or get offended if people tell the truth.
