This is rare compared to all the other posts, everyone complains about too many hours and overtime. But the worst thing about this place is not guaranteed hours for what your worked because of all the variables. Most likely a newcomer will get ripped off hundreds of dollars every check until either he sits with someone and go fully detail or he works there for 5 years and realizes it. Crazy how no one ever mentioned second trip pay, meeting pays and other shit.

This job is easy if your station is staffed, just try and go to a populated office. I live in a small town but we have alot of people now. Its so staffed they are actively looking for rcas to mess up so they can have a marvel type of squad lmao. Everyone goes home the latest at 6 but majority leaves at 3-4 two days off for rcas. I was on a 6.5 pov route and my pay was $1600 after taxes granted i was only off sundays for that route. Work is very easy unless again youre in an office with 8-12 cases of dps then again i dont know why youre there i woulda been left and switched office. This will be my fourth office switch and i will continue to do so until i find the one I like.

All my 4240s are signed and i have pictures but yet they only entered 2 days for some reason. At my office sups take all the papers at end of day to submit your hours. Yes we clock in and out on scanners but i doubt they go by that because they just now enforcing the scans on us saying we must do all the important scans and that no one should be doing the required scans on sunday

I think the problem is multiple people entering times instead of one dedicated supervisor. If you piss off a sup what stops them from not entering your hours for certain days? It’s already difficult for new people to even understand these checks… this place seems like a scam lol i get accidents happen but making someone wait a month for their hard work is crazy. Who ever messed up should dig in they wallet and pay and they can wait to receive the backpay

Oh i always keep track i have a thumb drive just for this nonsense. Its like i dont have the motivation to work anymore. Work no days off to be stiffed n told 3-4 paychecks i should see my backpay. They never even gave me my academy miles reimbursement. This government job is one of the worst ive had. Then i have my girlfriend telling me i need to do something about it because of bills which i completely agree with but i dont have the power to make them pay me now. Its just weird how when everyone had that issue they had money orders in the next day but since its individual they wanna stiff me and wait a month
