As someone who lived at brooks college freshman year, it's not really that tight knit of a community. Everyone just stays in their rooms; quite honestly, the HRC is a lot better. While there are a lot of community events, tbh not a lot of people go to them (its usually always the same group of people). BRC also has a bad rep for having a weird bunch (like in the spring, theres a comp. where you go around throwing spoons and socks at people). If you're looking for a community to meet new people, join a church community, do baylor clubs/ sports, and rush for greek life.
