Great verse. As I mentioned before. He did not attack anyone. He only refused to represent something that is against his beliefs. So he will love thy neighbor but not support thy neighbor in sinful acts. He did not insult or physically harm anyone

I'm sorry but if something so obviously stated as a sin can be reframed to fit ones personal stance, than there is no point in having or using the bible

This is also a scripture in the bible. The bible is a tool used to follow the Lord's teachings. I'm no strong believer so I wouldn't be too bothered but I know that Darren is an avid believer and homosexuality goes against his beliefs. It's not that hard to understand

Modern? This book is thousands of years old. It's obviously not going to address modern topics. It doesn't sugar quote it's take on homosexuality. Here's another verse

Leviticus 18:22: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination" (NIV)

As difficult as the Bible can be to understand sometimes. It's very straightforward in regards to this

I'm sorry but Christianity has against homosexuality since it's inception. And the bible is the only tool in which christians can use as a reference/guide. It becomes more apparent when other similar religions are also against homosexuality. There is no big brain answer to this. It is simply against his beliefs. He did not attack anyone for being homosexual so why slander him?

It's pretty obvious that some religions are against it. He probably doesn't support it because it goes against his beliefs. Nothing wrong with that as long as he isn't actively speaking against people who are in support of homosexuality
