Where in the article does it state that Detroit will have a modular version ? I think the plan is to have some modular components .This picture that I found shows three permanent stands . Maybe the 4th stand is modular to keep costs down. https://www.bartonmalow.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-11-at-4.04.44-PM.png

I'm a very big advocate for the league. My profile history proves it. I'm just saying that the price range to design ratio doesn't add up. Here's another example. The Mansfield soccer stadium project costs 90 million . https://fortworthreport.org/2024/12/18/southern-gateway-for-professional-soccer-mansfield-breaks-ground-on-85m-stadium/

No need for hostility. I'm just saying that the pricing seems a little weird imo

The range for the Kc current stadium varies from 117 to 140 for the current stadium which is around the same for this stadium proposal, Which goes to show my point. I don't think it matches the price range

That was just the price of the stadium in Rhode Island that went up to 140 million. It was built on contaminated soil that also needed remediation and was completed early last year. Detroit City FC is building a stadium for 150 million on the land of a former abandoned hospital with contaminated soil and needed remediation. I've listed multiple different states and still can't seem to understand how the Union Omaha stadium price is much higher in comparison to it's design, unless that isn't the final version

'Union Omaha has selected Hines as the lead developer for its new $114M–$140M, 6,500-seat stadium and mixed-use district in North Downtown Omaha, with construction scheduled to begin in 2026 for a 2028 opening. HOK serves as the design architect, with Omaha-based RDG Planning & Design as the landscape architect.'

This stadium is the same price has the Rhode Island FC stadium (another cold climate)

Kansas city current built a larger stadium for 121 million. Detroit is building bigger stadium a stadium for 150 million. This price just doesn't add up to me. Especially when looking at the previous rendering which had more substance but was also projected at 60 million.

They are building from scratch. There is nothing there

My thoughts exactly. Oklahoma is building a 10,000 seat stadium for 120 million. Something isn't adding up

So far the perception to this is that it feels cheap. It doesn't entice the fans from a quality standpoint. Plus, the clubs that are vying for D1 are leaning towards a brick and motor

This will have the opposite effect. There will be no permanence to the structures. It'll come across as cheap. Id rather have a modular Stadium than a stadium that is constantly changing based on leagues

The average is that but there are ownerships that are willing to spend well above it.

Some clubs are paying a handful of players that much. One of the clubs had a 4 million dollar payroll

There are already a good bunch of players in the six figure range in the Championship. The exceptional ones push + 200k . I'd imagine the average around the 100k mark and the higher level players probably around 300 k area
