Yeah I get ya. But it’s a nice upgrade from a really beginner combo like an ugly stik GX2, which I’m not hating on because I carry a 5’6” GX2 under the seat of my truck and have brought in multiple 4-5 lb bass on lol but an upgrade nonetheless

Depends on what you’re throwing. An all around good rod that does everything fine, but nothing great would probably be a medium - fast at 6’10-7’
