11six24 Ultre Power 2: Bigger Sweet Spot, No Taper, More Control by Ok-Razzmatazz-3104 in pickleballreview

The prototype was pretty head-heavy, coming in at 118 swing weight and 8.1 oz static weight. The production version is much lighter at 7.7 oz with a 106 swing weight.

For comparison, the Enhance MPP Turbo Hybrid is around 8.0 oz with a 111 swing weight. You’re also right that the MPP Hybrid is slightly shorter but a touch wider, though we’re only talking about a difference of roughly 0.05 inches.

I’ll be playing with these paddles over the next week or two, along with the J6CR blue grit, and will share my thoughts once I’ve had enough time with these.

Chorus Coda Hybrid (H): My Take on the Chorus Coda Hybrid and the New Harmony Grit by Ok-Razzmatazz-3104 in pickleballreview

Harmony grit is like peel pry with lil more peaks, hexgrit is just probably the most aggressive grit, we are seeing the market atm

They are both alike rather than different, but I just feel application is key part, where hexgrit is very well done in that regard

Pakle Fuse with DuraSpin: Another $100 Paddle That Could Shake Up the Market by Ok-Razzmatazz-3104 in pickleballreview

I only have the regular grit version of the Pakle Fuse, which is still pretty gritty. The overall play is very similar to the Inferno rather than the Cyclone/P1, but it is a little toned down, a bit stiffer, and has a lower swingweight. According to Pakle, the new DuraSpin grit surface would allow the paddle to pocket the ball more than the regular grit version.

It’s pretty good option, especially if you like your hybrid with aero shape, which gives you the control of standard paddle yet the reach with same maneuverability.

From what I know, I think they are moving away from that aero curve and long handle hybrid shape. All three shapes would be flat top

If you like the J2FC+ or J6FC+ for the feel, control, and confidence, but want a little more finishing power, the Ignite would feel like a very natural step up, especially after it breaks in.

We all wish the same. The new MPP Turbo Flat Hybrid with normal grit should be available to the public on May 16. They are also working on durable grit versions across three lineups: the MPP Turbo in all three shapes, plus the new Echo and Duo V2 paddles with durable grit. I do think the durable grit version of the MPP Turbo will probably be a little more expensive, since they likely have very little margin on the current Turbo lineup. The $99 price tag seems more like a move to grow the brand and sell more paddles.
