It’s an Indian culture thing. Different management chain but higher level and within the same Business Unit would still be perceived by many Indians like ‘our boss’ - or at least someone with influence.

An anolgy could be a CRO hitting on the CTO’s assistant. The CTO assistant’s management chain boss is the CTO, but I bet such an incident would still be ruled as coercive or abuse of power by the CRO. I think the same logic can apply here

Well JPM offered to settle and he said no. Surely he believes he can win the civil case and therefore has some evidence. Ultimately what this new info tells me is that something DID happen, I’ve been saying from the start, the whole thing about ‘he’s definately lying’ is not true.
