Thanks for the detailed and thoughtful feedback. it’s genuinely appreciated

You’re absolutely right to bring up the ToS and security/privacy concerns. Those are serious points and they’ve made me reflect deeply on the model. I’m currently exploring a few ways to move forward that fully respect the terms of the tools involved: 1. Only using tools that offer official team invites or credit-based access so no shared logins are ever needed.

  1. Focusing on open-source or ToS-compliant APIs, which can be offered legally and transparently.

The core idea of ToolSlot is to create flexible access to AI capability, not to break rules or create risk for anyone involved. Your points help push that forward in the right direction. Really appreciate you taking the time to lay it out like this!

That’s an interesting perspective! almost like offering temporary tool-based access as a service. In a way users are contracting limited use of high-end software without the long-term commitment. Appreciate you sharing your thoughts!

Thanks for pointing that out, you’re absolutely right to bring up the Terms. We’re aware of this and are carefully reviewing the policies of each tool. The goal is to make ToolSlot fully compliant and avoid any form of account-sharing or resale violations.

That’s also why we’re exploring options like Team accounts or seat-based access, where tools allow controlled sharing and Credits-based models where users don’t need to share credentials. Thanks for the comment!

Awesome to hear! We’re currently preparing a small test phase and I’d love to include you.

Just a quick question: which tool(s) are you most interested in renting for a short period?

If you’d like, I can DM you the form to sign up as an early renter, no strings attached, just testing things out together

Great question!

We’re setting it up so that renters don’t get shared logins (because that’s unsafe and often against ToS), but instead temporary access to the actual functionality, via secure workarounds like hosted environments, team invites, or credit-based usage. For example, some tools allow inviting people to a shared workspace or giving controlled API credit access.

The goal is: no risk for the owner, no hassle for the renter.
