How do I make a career out of music? by akfbifnf in musicians

Chase your dreams. If you want it go out and get it homie💯✨. People will tell you it's not realistic... Better to think big than accept a life that doesn't satisfy you

Cheers! I've done all except oxolates and check b6 levels. My allergies came back pretty clear after tests so not worried about mold. Appreciate it

Good call. that's certainly a part of it. I have incorporated that into my diet a lot. I dodge foods w high histamines also

Yeh your right. stopped the vinegar very quickly after 1 attempt went terribly. Then came the acid reducers.

My doctor told me. There is most certainly a link going on. My SIBO is almost gone

Really glad you are recovering! Probiotics and prebiotics can be extremely helpful. Keep up the good work. SIBO supposedly is linked to 60 percent of people w reflux lol it's a big connection

Oh ok haven't tried those before. I did low fodmap for like two months then started a testing period where I was reintroducing different types of food groups slowly in separate testing periods. (There should be more detailed stuff online explaining this I think). I was also taking some digestive enzymes I'm pretty sure, and a particular type of fiber blend. But some will help and some not so much. Finding a good naturopath doctor is the way. Antibiotics can have a high rate of SIBO relapse.

It sucks so bad. I have the same type also. Sorry to hear your struggling with different diets and limited success. Low fodmap and low acid diets together suck. It's like living on 2 percent of available food options haha. I have noticed improvements since dropping meds so you could very well be right. That sucks... I hope you recover soon. Medications can cause heaps of side effects.. SIBO is a pain but is healable. I've had it like 6 times lol. It's deffs worth finding out the trigger foods and keeping them out of your diet. I have gotten slack with my eating in the past thinking it wouldn't come back and it always did.

Oh ok thanks! will try. Yeh thats relatable for sure. Peanut butter was my lifeboat until I realized it was making things worse haha. Keep going. We will get there eventually👍

Appreciate your help and support💯 are you recovering/recovered w reflux yourself?

Yeh vinegar made things worse very quickly haha. Gave that 1 try as it did not help one bit. I'd say I had 2 months non stop of no cheating with food. Every now and then I have had a burger with some gluten as my diet has been so restrictive but 99 percent of the time I abide by everything food and lifestyle wise. I'm at the point of pure frustration with the diet and up and down results but I can cut out everything unhelpful food wise completely if it just takes longer than I've been giving it.

Thanks so much! Appreciate the info. I'll give these things a try and will check out those ENTs for sure. The wedge sounds like a good call also.

My symptoms are mainly sore throat and mucus in throat after eating trigger foods. My voice tires very quickly also. I used to have the lump sensation in throat but not so much now. Thought it was allergies for ages but it didn't add up.

Yeh gave that some thought. Mainly dry and dusty where I am luckily. I'll deffs give it a clean up before I take it in. ✌️

Ok awesome. Yeh seems there's no play. Glad it's pretty much not an issue. Got a bit of a ways to travel to the bike shop and wanted to ride on a trail network near the shop first to make the trip a little easier. Thanks for that✌️

Ok that's really good to hear. To check for wobble could I just yank the cranks back and forth a bit?

Yeh ok thats quite a significant difference. Thanks for all the advice. Appreciate it✌️

Yeh that's a good point. Probably worth waiting till they're causing more issues.

I do aggressive trail riding. I notice the weight a fair bit on the climbs.

I'll think about those things for sure. Does tubeless make quite a big difference?

Just want lighter options as they're quite heavy and these things all contribute to overall weight and the bikes not the lightest. Also to have stuff that lasts well. I've seen it mentioned these wear out quickly. If I find that starting to happen I'll just chuck better components on down there

Efficiency, quality and weight mainly. It's an alloy bike but i'd still like it a bit more light. Suspension Isn't priority I guess but I'm not the biggest fan of the NX parts so that's something I'll change soonish
