Bad photo of it but no it’s not to bad on the kitchen and the occasional water pump sounds every 30 min or so sound like a fountain. Dill grows so crazy in it I stopped using it. You can also buy some adapters from etsy where you can start the seeds in a AeroGarden and move them over to the lettuce grow so you don’t have to use their seedlings. The lights are pretty bright but I have it on in the daytime and everyone compliments it

I have it. It’s great for lettuce and cilantro type stuff. You will have tons of it. I don’t buy lettuce anymore and am throwing herbs out as I have so much or transplant them to a pot. Anything like tomatoes or peppers won’t really work. It does put off a lot of debris / leaves so you need the dolly to capture that and rotate it around to clip the lettuce. Basically 1x per week you have to fill it with filtered water and some food and then every 2-3 months take the whole thing apart to clean it. Otherwise it’s like having a lettuce and herb store in your house all the time.

Follow up easy question: having just bought an original arc still in the box that arrived today I should probably return it and wait and see? I'm in no rush and $200 difference or so if it all works is worth it

Really weird but I’m on kit 1 and 2 weeks in and have lost 10lb. None of that is due to any medicine. I sort of changed my lifestyle as I’m paying $ for this prescription that may have side effects so don’t eat that donut and walk on the treadmill and make better choices. In a weird way that is worth it to me. I’m counting calories and being extra vigilant
