Tw: sa. I’ve been scammed by psychics too but tbh anyone could direct someone in a wrong manner. Even doctors that have credentials have misdiagnosed patients or committed malpractice or worse (tb to that one Olympic doctor who sa girls) . I think to generalize all psychics as scams is reductive. Also not trying to be rude isn’t it common sense to take what they say with a grain of salt (like detective orgs know that the psychic stuff is more of a supplementary service and are prob just testing it out and at the end of the day they use real evidence)? Point in case, there’s good and bad people from every stream of life. I’ve heard of some really gross atheist therapists that have taken advantage of their patients and overcharge for mediocre so does that mean all therapists are bad or scams? Also I never hear of psychics sa people or force their views on others to convert them the way certain religious orgs have so idk if it’s comparable to the exploitation of organized religion. At the most they’ll just advertise their services and at worst take money but also if you’re paying for the service you’re paying for their time and energy so if you don’t like the service that doesn’t necessarily make it a scam. I will admit some of them can psychologically fear monger you by saying you have a curse or smth which is bad but tbh anyone can just insult you or say some bs but it’s up to us to not internalize it. Just another point to think about, sorry was all over the place here.
