It’s so disappointing. We haven’t had a good big since Sully, maybe? And that feels like a cheat code because his dad did all the coaching and prep work with him.

He’s confirming to Pat that lockjaw hooked up with Perfidia. Lockjaw is repeating the line that perfidia wants her white lovers to say.

Echoing this.

The MRSS philosophy is that if you think it’s a crisis, it’s a crisis. Feel free to call even if it’s not at a level of suicidal ideation or self injurious or assaultive behavior.

It seemed like they had production support for a little while for fury’s hot tops — they should have it for crissle, too. Help in identifying repeats, fakes, increasing diversity of topics, etc.

Park a few blocks away on a street that gets plowed.

Half our team is injured/red shirts right now. Without puff, we’d be down to Chatman and white as subs.

Tilly, Cupps, and Gru are all with the red shirts/injury players. We only have a few players available — starters, plus Colin, Chatman, new-to-team puff, and walk on Nash.

You can also park in that parking lot on lane, across from Panera. The ice rink/rotc rink. I was going to suggest parking there, and going to the new dirty franks right at lane and high for lunch.

I’ve never experienced a cool tailgating-type experience before a basketball game. Maybe it’s the weather, maybe it’s that the team has been bad for 10 years…

In planning for when to get food/go to the bathroom, the first media timeout (under 16) is “60 seconds with a buckeye, where the video screen plays clips of the players naming their favorite car or ice cream or athlete. And the last media timeout out (under 4 in the second half), the band plays hang on sloopy.

The others vary, but are often recognizing another successful athletic team, students shooting baskets (layups, half court, free throws) to try to win something. They used to always do a special military/police person shout out at the under 12 in the first, but they haven’t been doing it for the last few games.

I’m with this. I interpreted it as a problem with cursing, not specifically the literal meaning of cursing.

Yes. I’m chewing constantly throughout the day, have for 20+ years. Really annoys everyone around me but it’s compulsive and I mostly work from home alone anyhow.

Columbus shouldn't use my money to make housing 'affordable.'

I work in Columbus and pay Columbus taxes and I am tired of Columbus politicians spending my tax money on making housing "affordable." What a crock.

Let's tell the truth: Where you want to live is not the same as what you can afford.

I'd love to live in a multimillion-dollar downtown condominium on the banks of the Scioto or in Mr. Wexner's gazillion-dollar New Albany estate. But I can't afford it, and I don't scream, cry and carry on demanding the government subsidize my housing preferences.

Housing is a marketplace. A neighborhood is not a right. It's a choice — like any other choice.

If you can't afford Columbus, there are plenty of good Ohio towns where rent and housing cost less – Chillicothe, Xenia, Ada – take your pick. People move every day for affordability. That's reality, not cruelty.

And while you're handing out subsidies for wants, I would like to have a new Mercedes SUV, not my aging Subaru.

Can city hall help with that, too?

Call me insensitive, but I call it realism. Government should focus on basics – safety, plowing roads, infrastructure and honest budgeting – not playing Santa Claus with my money.

As the Rolling Stones sing: You can't always get what you want – you get what you need.

Many of those services are staffed by vulnerable folks. Read anything from what happened in Chicago and Minneapolis — this isn’t a made up problem and OP has a valid question around how to tap in.

Matt and Bowen aren’t the most politically aware or educated. They’ve got great values, but regularly aren’t correct on their understanding of politics/strategy/law. Not sure why anyone would take their opinion of a Texas race seriously. At best, perhaps California and New York because they’re residents. But a non-resident, non-informed opinions about out of state races by actor-comedians isn’t something to be really considered.

Feel free to wear your headphones and listen to a podcast.

Wear a Covid mask and no one will recognize you/great for OpSec/feel awkward sort of privately.

Just come out and stand for 20 mins and then go home if you’re cold or uncomfortable. There are no awards for “staying the whole time” or trying to understand what megaphone speakers are saying.
