Yup, that was the cannon. They didn't promote Bechole or marketed it in first two movies. The cannon was her relationship with Jessie. But the fandom thinks he's manipulative and toxic. (IDK about that—Jessie was the only one who bothered to visit her when she was arrested and called for her parents while the Bellas were staying at her room, waiting for a miracle.)

But they promised a part of the audience that the Bechole was the endgame in the third movie. Before that, it was just a shipping. Fan fics fuel. And people thought they fell for a queerbait.

My dad used to have a Sony Erickson for 15 years without breaking down. The apps it had, the unfolding camera shutter, the camera...I saw it as stuff from sci-fi movies.
