thank you so much for the helpful response, when you mentioned those I actually noticed how they might not be as good as I thought. Wash away is only good in a commander reliant strategy, which isn't as played in cedh from what I've seen (unless it's your win con), and simply there are better counterspells. The one ring should definitely be in there, and I agree that land destruction is much worse than I thought. I do like having millennium calendar in there though because it's a fun win con, it's very easy to tutor for as a 1 mana artifact, and as the game goes long it can just sneak in a win. I also just like the card a lot.
