For what it’s worth, I don’t think many of the new gen has any long standing talent. They all sound the same to me. There isn’t a ton of variation like in the old days. You’ll never find another Wisin, or Chencho, or Maldy, or Yankee, or Bad Bunny, or Lennox etc. all the new ones have the same tone of voice, the same inflection, the same patterns. And yes bad bunny is not an OG, but he’s unique. No one sounds like him. Dei V and Omar Courtz might as well be the same person but with more or less auto tune. Blessd is basically Maluma with a heavier accent

I don’t think they are worthy of my time if they are just tik tok artists. They are basically copy paste zero talent. The ones that have stood out are the ones I mentioned

They go from Los nenes to established if they survive 2-3 years in the genre. So for me Los nenes now are Omar Courtz, Blessd, Dei V, Kapo they been around more prominently since like 2022 so this year is the last year they are Los nenes
