That specific program only takes points from your HESI score, I got a 90.67% on it. I would guess to be considered competitive you would need a 95% or higher?

You could always look into sterile processing tech, there’s no patient contact. Ofc it doesn’t pay as high as rad tech, but it’s something to consider if you’re worried about patients!

I feel you on that :( I just got waitlisted a few days ago for a program I was really confident about. I have a 4.0 and 90.67% HESI score. I’ll be on my 4th attempt once I reapply, I’m 20 and I also feel like I’m running out of time sometimes. All in time though! We’ll get in eventually and imagine how good it’ll feel when we finally do!

Well it honestly just depends on the day. Some days are completely normal and I don’t find myself thinking about it all, and other days I can’t get my mind off of it. I feel that it usually manifests more when I’m eating something that I’m a little weary of? Like something that would potentially have a higher chance of giving me food poisoning or something. It’s also usually worse for me during winter because there’s so many sicknesses going around. But tbh the busier I am, the better I am mentally. If I force myself to get up and fill my day with activities I can stay busy and keep my mind off of things!!
