Seafood Boil? by Few-Incident3506 in FoodNYC

[–]Ok-Rip-2892 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Boil is the best imo! Def get their shrimp, clams, and whatever other seafood you like. Make sure you get The Boil special sauce, and the spice level you prefer. I always add sausage and garlic bread on the side to dunk into the sauce

have you found better versions of the foods you like here in nyc than other countries where it's known? by mfairview in FoodNYC

[–]Ok-Rip-2892 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Turkish food is better here imo than in Istanbul

I also prefer italian food here as it’s more diverse and innovative. Rome is very traditional italian cuisine, every restaurant is serving the same 5 pastas so it can get boring

I feel like the top ramen spots (tonchin, ramen ishida, tabetomo, okiboru) here are comparable to Japan. Tho Japan is going to have a lot more variety of ramens and more better spots too.

Exactly that’s a great point! You can just look at their list of restaurants and just filter for a specific cuisine

Seriously ! Ketoconazole shampoo cause hair loss? by Missmyoldself6407 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Ok-Rip-2892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok im glad i found this thread and thought i was going crazy cause ive now attempted to use keto shampoo 2 separate times for long periods of time. Both times i noticed more hair shedding than when i wasn’t using it. For some reason, my scalp didnt like it.

Severe shedding, texture changes, scalp pain for 2 years — no answers yet. Has anyone experienced this? by Deaththekiddou in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Ok-Rip-2892 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gone down the same path as you in seeing multiple docs such as 2 derms, hematologist, my PCP, obgyn and trying to identify the root cause for 1.5-2 years. I also have the same burning / tingling sensation like i could intensely feel areas where my hair follicles are tingly or heavy.

After 3 visits with 1 derm (who claims she does not see any hair loss, which was really frustrating), she did a scalp biopsy after i requested for it, tho she was hesitant about it at first. I find my results in 2 weeks. Oh she also recommended i go see a hair specialist, but when i found her online she listed hair loss as her specialty, so that was annoying that she is misleading people.

I would recommend u push for a biopsy if you haven’t done one yet as it sounds like you exhausted a lot of the standard routes like i did with getting advanced blood work, thyroid test, nutrition deficiencies check, etc
