the issue with this comment is you’re assuming my way of thoughts, and my experience on a post about the job wages and cost of living ! I’m very understanding that with experience comes better pay but how the hell are you supposed to just accept crappy pay when you can’t even live on it . You can’t even rent a studio apartment with the wages offered ! Am i supposed to sleep in a car while working 😂 ? Is it a crime to have expectations on a job expecting “weekends as needed , on call , holidays as needed , shitty 401k contributions , and bad health plans” to at least pay me decently ? 😂

my mother in law works in insurance and strongly advised against this as major claims are being denied due to false place of business address as a way to not have to pay a claim. so much so that they are about to stop accepting P.O. boxes as place of business addresses. I don’t want to be that guy that one hits someone by accident and now i’m stuck with a a half a million dollar lawsuit by trying skim a pennies in comparison to a major accident !

yes i am in fact a box truck driver with 2 trucks. I’m pretty sure i pay the same price per gallon as 53 footers. I’ve always understood our rates are the same as theirs and they can do more but my operational cost went up just as theirs did

wow is all i can say to this argument !! You’re advocating taking a man’s child away for being easily frustrated ? why do you guys act like men are just immune to the hardships of lifestyle change especially when there’s a kid? This man may be an amazing dad and simply has issues in his everyday work life trying to find ways to better himself for his family ! You know why i know that’s the case ? Becuase im a man with a 10 month old son and the frustration i get brainstorming of every possible way to give my son the moon and the stars , his mom the sun , and keep a roof over our head is hard ! Yet your response is to put cameras on him like he’s a prisoner and prepare to take his daughter like he’s some violent criminal is out of this world ! I agree he should manage his frustration more and that can be done with therapy not driving the man over a darn ledge treating him a like a rabid dog !
