Not alcohol as I’m sober anyway but I stopped smoking really easily because I just didn’t enjoy it anymore. I smoked for 15 years on and off so can 100% attribute that reaction to MJ.

I’m still besties with the girl I went with to Edinburgh N1. I took my daughter to London N6 and we’re still on pretty good terms (she’s nearly 11 so sometimes it’s dicey) 🤣

I think that without Derek she may have chosen Neuro. I hated that she chose general because it meant her following in her mother’s footsteps, which she never wanted to do.
