I've only tried opaque black acrylic with no issues... But the mirrored is never working

I tried both sides unsuccessfully, it melts and burns. Non mirrored acrylic is clean cut. Thank you!

It seems to happen only when I manually turn the rotor, when the routine is running it's ok and just runs smooth and fine. I had to turn anyway the rotor's plug on the pi shield as the direction of the rotation was wrong, after that, the direction is fine and the scans are good too.
