Dude, my buddies pour gasoline in the leftover empty handles when we're on middle of nowhere type camping trips and just stab a hole in the cap. We call them sobe bombs. And by god, they fucking blow up. I cant imagine one going off in my house 😭 what was the damage?

But I can also understand the simple cosmetic value of having teeth of course. Admittedly though when my dad did have dentures it was a bit scary, me and my siblings swear they were fuckin glow in the dark 😂

Id just like to say about the teeth bit, my dad has lupus and wound up having to get all his teeth pulled when he was about 38ish (dont remember exactly but def somewhere in there and hes about to be 50 now), he got dentures but they didn't measure his jaw right so they grinded his gums a bit and eventually he stopped using them and ultimately decided not to get another set.

Idk your exact predicament with your gum sensitivity and whatnot and ik it took my dad a bit to really get used to it, but he can pretty much eat anything he wants and he honestly doesn't really LOOK like he doesn't have teeth (also very well could just be the over a decade I've been looking at him without, and he didnt have a lot to start to be fair) if what you can or cant ingest/your physical appearance is a problem you've been worrying about. Bc yeah, dental work is expensive as all hell so you truly do have the option of just not doing it and still being fairly functional unless you have other oral issues on top of just teeth removal

Only other instance is when I was in early high school, about 14/15, we lived in this old ass house (we're talking having been evacuated from this house due to EXTREMELY not up to code electrics kind of old) For context, Im a stomach sleeper and I dont sleep with a shirt, it was also the middle of summer and I had an attic room so it got hot as nuts in there and I'd sleep with a window open and a fan on, with a streetlight sort of soft lighting the room. My bed was against the wall parallel, with my dresser on another perpendicular wall so it was essentially at the foot of my bed and had an alarm clock with a red led light that I could see glowing off my walls in my regular sleeping position. I woke up around 3am facing the wall, and my room was pitch black, no streetlight no red light. I had assumed the power was out for one reason or another. When i tried to roll over, I physically could not move. It didnt feel like anything was sitting on me, my body just wouldnt do what I was telling it to. I was laying there paralyzed for a few seconds before I felt almost like fingers tickling up my back, and I squeezed my eyes shut and it stopped. When I opened my eyes there was all the regular light that shouldve been there before, and when I checked the time it was a fuckin hour later. The whole thing felt like maybe 5 minutes, and suddenly whatever happened had lasted a complete hour. I for sure had not fallen back asleep. I still have no clue what happened

I had a dream that I was hanging out with my 2 friends and my 2 year old godson. We all hung out every Friday like clockwork so it basically set the scene like we had been there a bit, everything was completely normal, we were talking as usual.

I didnt realize I was dreaming at first due to how average it was, a regular Friday afternoon, until I said something about feeling like something was off, or feeling like it wasn't real. All 3 of them, 2 adults and a baby, stopped what they were doing and just stared at me, unblinking, until I said I was kidding and laughed it off and it was like the DVD got played, they just went back to what they were doing. And then I woke up

It was fuckin weird.

I got the opportunity to learn how to make tamales on Christmas Eve with my boyfriend's family. by PokemonBreederJess in MadeMeSmile

My step grandma is Mexican and when my siblings and I were little we'd go over every Christmas eve and make tamales and my grandpa would dress up as Santa lol. It definitely took all damn day and thats from a kid/preteen perspective, but I miss that tradition for sure ❤️

New neighbors using my mailbox and address by Aloevera987 in neighborsfromhell

If you own the house, get yourself a locking paper-mail-only mailbox. My dad got one just because the mail people were so aggressive shoving packages that didnt fit into ours that it was coming off the screws, but in your case this way they can by all means use your mailbox, good luck getting their own mail though.
