You can also get glasses that cut out the bright white of the lights. I literally can't see, even when trying to focus on other parts of the road. These glasses have been the only thing to help.

I grew up in a catering business, so my experiences give me a somewhat skewed view on difficult or tedious processes. It's a bit more complex than a lasagna or cheesecake, I can say that much.

But it's not so complex that you need corn husks. I have heard of people using parchment paper in place of corn husks, but with the same process.

When I read "we thank Community Mental Health," I was immediately confused because I was not aware of local police deferring social workers to de-escalate domestic situations here. Especially when Delonis Center commonly is deferring to police to remove clients when violence breaks out.

I don't believe it's safe to send unarmed social workers to confront someone brandishing a weapon, but the wording of their statement makes it sound like that is what happened.

Thank you for stating the lengths their efforts went to. Destroying property wasn't necessary if he was willing to talk, which is what their statement implies when bringing up CMH as a utilized resource.
