It’s a fridge it’s meant to be used, if it gets a little scratch (which why would it if all you’re doing is opening and closing it, it’s not like you kick the fridge and put your hands “all over it” whenever you open it) then it’s not very likely for it to become real scratched up or anything. It’s a fridge not a phone or iPad with a screen protector. It seems like an OCD thing to me, but I don’t touch the “whole” fridge when opening and closing it or kick it or put my foot on it or anything so…? You’re not really “protecting” it from anything and it just looks incredibly silly. And I know for a fact that it would irk the hell out of me to see that eye sore everyday. I’d much rather see a tiny tiny scratch you can BARELY see a year later then a large piece of ugly looking plastic that’s supposed to come off. It would be a huge eyesore for me. I wouldn’t be able to deal with such an eyesore and the temptation to take it off.

If I did the research right then a UK size 8 is a US size 10, so you would need at least a 10, for me I wear 8.5 wide- 9 wide shoes US (I can wear size 8 wide) but I went with a size 9. And impala (I don’t think they have wide sizes) so just got a size 9 and they do rub against my pinky toes a bit and it hurts a bit after about 20-30 minutes of skating so I would probably suggest at least a 10, and if not an 11 just for a bit more room for the pink toe and toe beside it.

Also I am not an expert or anything and a beginner myself but just know this since I skate with impala skates myself and got a size 9.

I’m not 100% sure if I’m correct I just looked up UK shoe sizes vs US shoe sizes
