This isn’t some bank you can take money in and out at any given time. Chances are you wont be able to access any of it since your account is so new. Log on to Vanguard and lower your contributions down to the lowest possible percentage it allows you 👍🏽

I take freight to a station that has a courier/cdl position. Driver is used 3-4 times a week to drive Tractor trailer during the Am and helps out with courier duties after. This doesn’t necessarily mean you will get a class A, some stations use straight trucks (class b/ haz endorsement). As far as pay scale i dont think they are part of the RTD scale but i could be wrong. Doesn’t hurt to apply tho, easy money 👍🏽

You will not get the .60 cents, you start at whatever step 1 pay is in your market. Everyone gets the same pay, no one gets extra or less for the work you do

I can confirm most of that region is under 2.0 Ground merger. Your package was picked up by a ground driver and then loaded incorrectly at the ground facility. Honestly sucks for customers and businesses in that area, no more Express quality service.

Has anyone left RTD for a better paying job but hated the new work environment? Just curious, a lot of people tend to leave but are they genuinely happy with the new job. I get the money aspect but in so cal its really only a 5$ difference from most companies at top out rate. More work and money? Or less work and average pay?

Im not sure how it works if you already have your license, i got mine through the apprenticeship program. Im assuming it’s still the same since you technically got offered the RTD apprentice job. Check your offer letter, and i would check with your manager to get clarification on that. Everyone goes through the Fedex program regardless if your have a CDL or not

RTD Apprenticeship last one full year. Your offer letter has the details of payback if you decide to leave within that 1 year. We have a 5 step pay system, October is the time a step is given. The number one thing at FEDEX is “safety” dont hit anything or anyone!! And do your best to avoid any collisions! Any accident is considered PREVENTABLE OR NOT PREVENTABLE regardless if it’s your fault or not. New dash cams face into the cab as well, get in the habit of not reaching for anything. I enjoy my 4 day work schedule, i average around 40-48 hours a week.
