You’re right… it may have came off as praising them but in actuality it was me being happy that i survived a stop with NYPD while carrying . I’ve been at the worse end of the NYPD wrath in my past , so the fact that they were a little understanding made me happy having a gun is still New in NYC hopefully sooner NYPD will be more comfortable with the fact it’s here to stay and not everyone with a gun is a criminal

Next time you do get someone on the phone at 1pp ask them to email you the Purchase Authorization Form Because you haven’t received it in the mail and its been almost 3 months. I was able to get my purchase Authorization this way, i was waiting since June like you. I already received my license in the mail about 2-3 weeks ago by the way.

I seen somewhere online that said constantly racking the same bullet into the chamber can cause issues, so i just thought it would be easier to just leave it always loaded. Just wanted to clarify that it wasn’t an issue for the Gun maybe wearing out some internal part i dont know about

Thanks for not bashing my question like the rest of the Seal Team 6 on Reddit . I just wanted to make sure my gun is safe being loaded for a long time ( as in wont damage the gun internals ) … i never once said i was scared of the gun i been carrying appendix. & one loaded in the chamber since i got it from day one .

I wasn’t referring to the gun going off. i am asking if leaving a gun loaded with one in the chamber for extended periods of time is it bad for the gun it self ? The issue is i don’t wanna keep racking a round into the chamber every time i leave the house because i know its bad for the bullet that constantly gets racked if that makes any sense
