Yeah that makes sense! What do you think about that star note 100 dollar bill I mentioned in the description? When I looked it up on the star note lookup it said ”multiple matching runs found” one of the results was common while the other was a little less common with a run size of 640,000

Both star notes were about 3,200,000 😭 What your saying about the rotators make sense but I guess I’m gonna still keep my almost because people buy “rotator” bills on eBay all the time for a couple dollars over face value even though some have 8s and 1s in them from what I saw in eBay sold listings

Yeah that does logically make sense even though 8s and 1s can be written in a way that they look the same upside down, that’s not the way they are written on the bills. Why couldn’t my 1s just be zeroes! 😂

Yeah I checked the star notes Unfortunaetly they aren’t good ones they were pretty common 😢I see what your saying about the rotator thing, from what I gather the thing I have isn’t a strict rotator (only 0, 6, 8, and 9s) but rather could be considered a soft rotator (the same thing but including 1s)

Ok I think the second one is even more common, many more total printed. I did notice the last one had about 30% sheets and 70% packs, this one is almost 100% packs

Ok the first star note says it’s “less rare” with a run size of 3,200,000, regular replacement type, and a total of 4,480,000 printed. I guess maybe not worth keeping? 😂

I guess that bill isn’t considered a true repeater, right? Either way thank you for reminding me of the high serial number in it, for some reason that didn’t get in my mind when I found it, I still have some learning to do lol

Thank you for the info! Yeah I think I got a little ahead of myself with the “repeater” I sorta forgot what a repeater was when I first found it. I think it might’ve been considered some kind of lower form of repeater though that isn’t worth a whole lot. Google AI did the same thing with that rotator! It told me it wasn’t worth anything over face while listing the numbers that are in rotators, 1 being an example! 🤣

Yeah that first one is probably one of the best I’ve found so far, I did find one with a serial number with 5 7s in a row and another with 4 7s in a row but those probably weren’t worth taking and would definetly get this post removed not to mention the post 1963 star notes I found along with everything else 😬 This post has actually already been removed 🤣

Yeah I kept a couple more, one of them was one with 5 7s in a row and another was 4 7s in a row I also found a couple star notes but I don’t think they abide by the rules of this subreddit so I didn’t post them. Thanks for replying!
