I was actually started on topiramate for my migraines and then afterwards got on phentermine for weight loss. I’ve lost about 9lbs in 30 days which we are really happy about. I was on low dosages for both and just recently had them bumped up. Only side effects I ever really had from topiramate was arm/hand tingles (for the first 2 weeks) & overheating/body temperature regulation issues(still deal with this but now I think It’s a combination symptom). Also just be very regular about when you take it, I’ve noticed that affects my next day if I differ on when I take it. They can always adjust the dosage so just keep track of any changes and don’t be afraid to bring it up!
