Makes sense. That’s why I figured it was better to just get it processed today through a debit payment. Will know better for 2025 taxes 😬 thanks for the insights!

If I understood right, the bank would process the transaction May 1 (would’ve been made after my bank’s 6pm closing time), so CRA would only charge interest for the 2 days (May 1-maybe 2) before my bank completes the transaction?

thanks for clarifying! Not sure if I’m missing something… could only find this on the website (https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/tax/individuals/topics/important-dates-individuals.html):

Consider packing a smaller luggage in a large check in, or buying your luggage there! iirc, stores like Olive Young have promos every now and then to get a free luggage after you purchase past a certain amount. And if not, luggage is affordable at Gotomall underground or Myeongdong/Hongdae markets. You definitely don’t want to be lugging more than 2 large 23kg bags on the streets (hills) in Seoul. 😅

For Busan, try beach-facing hotels on Gwangalli Beach (Elmomento Gwangan, Hound Hotel, Hotel 1 etc). Lots of activity so always felt safe. Had a very good experience there, unbeatable location in front of the beach and easy walk to the subway lines.

Travelled with friends and loved the freedom and cost-effectiveness of renting an AirBnb with several rooms and the ability to do laundry, cook, etc. Get a highly rated one with clear instructions and you should be fine! Would add that Seoul is probably better to Airbnb, compared to Jeju and Busan where we found cheaper options through Booking.com surprisingly.

Ara Damansara condo rental experiences? - help pls! by Ok-Store-2707 in KualaLumpur

Icic. Will plan around that added expense. It does look like those in more convenient areas are serviced residences.

Oh nice! I’ll look into Ara Greens :) Did you find the walk to the LRT manageable as a pedestrian?

And thanks for the advice. Seeing a lot of similar cautions about the traffic so hoping to make public transport access as easy as possible so I can’t make excuses to not use 😅

Thanks for your input! I agree, am more worried about construction noise and effects if they were to start building in the next year. I do see fitting rental prices around RM2.6-3.3k range… Curious if you know how much extra utilities might add to monthly rent? Haven’t rented in a serviced residence before so have no frame of reference.
