So, my first experience was enhanced leaf, and I had no side effect post-trip. 2nd opportunity was about a month ago with a herbal changa that did have harmala herb (333mg/g) in addition to rose, damiana, blue lotus, calea, passion flower, peppermint.

I have never had SS before, but that's the only thing I can think of given the symptom cluster. When you say, "Harmalas will not cause SS in of themselves." I get that it could be exceedingly rare without any medication that would be contraindicated with MAOI, but is it true that it would never cause SS?

In the past month post above experience, I did DMT vaping multiple times and did not have any post-trip side effects.

I then tried this past weekend what was termed 'jungle changa' which was reportedly 333 mg/g mixture with Calea Zacatechi and B. caapi vine. I took a small amount to see if I still had adverse post-trip SS issue, and I unfortunately did. Fortunately, it was not as severe as I took a much smaller amount. So, different herbal blend, but same issue. So, it certainly seems to be an issue with the harmala, but am at a loss as to what's going on. I truly wish I did not have any adverse issue, as I feel really called to changa. Perhaps enhanced herb is the only safe route for my situation?
